We are pleased to support the Woodsy Owl Poster Contest! Please see the official rules (on our menu bar at the top of our website) for full details. This contest is offered by a partnership between the National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Forest Service. Each entry should be 11 x 17 inches in size. Competition may include students from first to fifth grade. Posters must be submitted to the Arlington Garden Club with a postmark no later than January 10, 2021, and can be mailed to the Arlington Garden Club, PO Box 93, Arlington, VT, 05250. This allows time for our local club to get it to our state Chairman no later than January 21, 2021. The National Grand Prize Winner of the Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl Poster Contest will be honored with a Recognition Ceremony in Washington, D.C. A round-trip and accommodations for four will be provided for a 4 days/3 nights stay. The National Garden Clubs, Inc. will award a $50.00 check to each of the first-place national winners.
